D-31: Serials Check-In Records Statistical Code

Codes have been set up in the CountyCat serials module in order to allow staff to apply fixed-field codes to checkin records. One of the fixed fields for this purpose is SCODE1. Inputting codes in SCODE1 will allow for more accurate statistics and allow for creation of lists of serials matching the criteria of the codes. Following are the codes, the meaning, and a suggested definition of each. Note : While the code and meaning are fixed, the ultimate definition of the code is determined by each individual library.
